Erin and I have found out that rest stops are the easiest and cheapest way to travel by car. They have water, bathrooms, weirdos, truck drivers, middle class families in station wagons, trash cans, and a place to park your car and sleep after driving for 9 hours.
note: The best ones are state welcome centers.

- I was born and grew up in the Champlain Valley of Vermont, in a small city between Burlington and Middlebury, called Vergennes. I went to an alternative high school program, The Walden Project, after learning that traditional schooling didn't interest me. I have yet to attend college. Instead of applying, I got a job with Red House Inc., a local building company. I've worked there for 4 years. I took a leave of absence to go on a trip across the country.
